ABOUT SCOPE FELLOWSHIP
SCOPE - SOUL Centres of Public Excellence

An immersive professional experience

The School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL) is a first-of-its-kind leadership development institution in India. It is a privately funded institution to nurture leaders in the field of public service, such as political leaders, public policy leaders, and social sector leaders. The SOUL campus will soon be commissioned in Gandhinagar, next to GIFT City.

The SOUL Centres of Public Excellence (SCOPE) will comprise multiple centres to examine important questions in politics, public policy, and behavioural sciences. The centres will collectively deliver leadership programs for current and future political leaders, and government officials in policy, institutional, and implementation roles.

The SCOPE Fellowship is a three-year on-campus program for individuals with a fire within. Fire to go deep into examining political and social patterns, trends, beliefs, and norms that shape human behaviours. Fire to help participants reflect on human behaviours, help them develop the ability to demonstrate leadership in their work, and drive leadership throughout the system.

The SCOPE Fellow will preferably be in the age group of 30 to 37, be flooded with questions they want to examine about politics and society, be willing to go deep into examining those questions, and test the emerging ideas with various program participants in SOUL. The test with participants will determine whether the ideas work, and repeated requests to engage on those ideas will demonstrate their value. Each fellow has to do both: examine and execute those ideas.
